Default "Deadly Earth" Assassin CASTER!!!

Hey guys, I thought I'd change it up a bit and make this PvP/PvE Assassin Build. It's an extremely effective build, no matter how you use it. Now, without further adu, here is my creation. (Special Thanks to Atuin Blue for sharing with me his Caster Assassin Earth Build and giving me the idead for this one.)

Deadly Arts: 12+3+1
Earth Magic: 12

Assassin's Promise [Elite]
Iron Palm
Aftershock
Entangling Asp
Ash Blast
Signet of Shadows
Armor of Earth
Resurrection Signet

Weapon: Milius' Pillar (Yes, I finally have a use for this staff!)

Okay the point is to be able to kill individual enemies fast and regain like all your energy back afterward :P

First, cast Assassin's Promise on the enemy then use that hex to use Iron Palm, which knocks down and lets you use Aftershock. If they're not dead by then, Use Entangling Asp to poison and knock down, then use Ash Blast to Blind and then SIgnet of Shadows for an extra 100 Armor direct damage.

If you're running into particularly evil foes, you'll need to get Armor of Earth up first, then unleash the pwnage

not bad idea, i like how someone finally took the urge to fit Sig of Shadows into a blind build.

BUT.......Sig of Shadows has a nasty 30 sec recharge :/

Aha! But thats where Assassin's Promise comes in! It instantly recharges your skills when the target enemy dies!

yeah but you must kill the target before AP ends to work correctly but I dont think its really a problem for that. What I thought the most about this build, you can easely counter it with a Warrior, a Mesmer or a Monster in PvE which they can't knockdown or having an high earth/elemental resistence like Ranger or Stone monsters.

Yeah I tried it, its true about fast killing. I just wanted to say that you can have any problems with this build against some type of monsters/ players, nothing more. You will have some hard time to knockdown Shiro anyway bc he can't knockdown. Same thing with Kuunavang. Great support but in its line against 1 specific target only.

Edit: Just showing the weakness in the builds.

Yeah, it's not *specifically* designed for the major bosses in the game. But, there's always room for change, and I also have a Deadly Arts/Shadow Arts caster build thatd work well on them.

I'm someone who love originality in this game. Got tired to see the wave of ppl doing the same thing with every professions. That changes the routine btw.

Well, at least you're not an Ass-Tank and get down the good Sins reputation in PvE

Its hard to do against Jade Brotherhood mobs. If they've a mesmer in a team, they remove Assassin Promise right away. Otherwise these weaknesses, I walk in the park with some Aftershock here and there in the way.
